Reel Recorder
I have an old reel to reel Telefunken tape recorder. Is it worth anything?
It’s in full working order and it has 5 spools of tape and a microphone. Checked it this morning and it actually fully works. It’s from the 60’s, and I found it in the loft in my new house.
It’s difficult to say really. It may be worth something if it’s classed as ‘vintage’ and it’s in Excellent Condition. These things can sell on Ebay for about 50 pounds. It’s best to just go on Ebay, type in tape recorder and watch a few for a couple of days to see how they fair at auctions on line.
I wouldn’t get too excited unless it’s from the early 40’s though. But good luck with your sale if you decide to part with it.
