Potentiometer Stereo
What kind of potentiometer would i need?
Okay so the volume knob in my car stopped working. I’m guessing its the potentiometer. I have a Jensen MP6212 stereo. The volume knob is also a push / clicky knob. Any idea what type of potentiometer this is?
You will need to search for a schematic for that radio if you can find one. It will show how many “legs” come off the pot. It should show you the resistance of the pot. My guess is try to contact a Jensen service center and see if they will sell you one. If you are a DIY er you will need to have very good soldering skills and the ability to disassemble tiny parts.
