Harman Kardon
Can you use a Harman/Kardon HK395 subwoofer with different satellite speakers?
I have an HK395 subwoofer, and the satellite speakers it came with are both broken. I want to use a different set of satellite speakers. Do I need to buy Harman/Kardon speakers, or is there a way to use different brands with the subwoofer? I am willing to crack it open, solder, rewire, etc, if you have directions.
If you’re willing to rewire then you can connect pretty much any satellite speakers you want.
Whether they’ll actually sound good is a different question though lol.
