Raytheon vacume tube help?

I reacently aquired a Raytheon tube from a flea market, and i wanted to find out a little history as to what it was used for. I did a little research, and i cannot find anything out about it, so i turn to the people for help. below is everything that is on the tube, i put everything on, no matter how minor, and where it is

on the front of the tube ;

Raytheon
JAN-715B
Made in USA
AH2145
(in silver letters, as aposed to the gold above it)
SPECIAL C TEST

on the top, twords the metal node at the top is the following;
SC795A ….its hard to tell, as the last letter or number is a little blured

on the bottom white part is the number35

on the inside bottom white part, starting from the front, and turning counter clockwise is the following hand written in pencil;

A (space) 2-2 (space) 230

Any help as to what type of vacume tube, and what it was used for, the better.

Thank you
