the best book in electronic & telecommunication has been wrote by J.G. Proakis, Digital Communications, 4th Edition (McGraw Hill Higher Educations, 2000)

there’s a lot of exercices and examples. I always use that book, even for my research works … it’s also use by beginners. it’s really a Bible.
